About Samuel Krueger
Bringing District 8 to new heights
Samuel Krueger was born and raised in Elkton, South Dakota, as one of eleven children. Growing up in a large homeschool family taught him the values of faith, hard work, personal responsibility, and strong community.
Samuel graduated from South Dakota State University with a master’s degree in architecture and now owns a small carpentry business serving Brookings County and the surrounding area.
Since 2018, Samuel has served as an engineering officer in the South Dakota Army National Guard, where he has developed leadership, problem solving, and emergency response skills while serving the people of South Dakota.
Through his work, military service, and involvement in his community, Samuel has seen firsthand that strong communities are built by people who take responsibility for their families, their livelihoods, and their future. As a representative for District 8, he is committed to encouraging responsible leadership, defending South Dakota values, and working for the people of his district.
